MATCHA & CLAY, JUN 20, 11 AM
PREMIUM EXPERIENCE
Step out of the midday heat and into a sanctuary of mindful creation. Verde & Vessel blends the earthy, ancient rituals of ceremonial matcha with the meditative art of pottery. We begin the afternoon with a moment of pause—enjoying whisked, vibrant green matcha to ground our senses. From there, we move to the clay. With a focus on minimalist design, clean lines, and intentional movement, this workshop is a masterclass in slow living. Feel the cool texture of the clay as you sculpt a vessel that reflects peace, balance, and modern aesthetic beauty.
The Experience Includes: High-grade matcha tasting (iced or hot), mindful studio ambiance, premium clay, and minimalist glazing options.
What You’ll Make: An authentic matcha bowl (chawan), a minimalist vase, or a sculptural incense holder.
Perfect For: Lovers of wellness, clean aesthetics, and intentional, meditative crafting.
Every piece undergoes our full studio process—drying, initial firing (bisque), glazing, and final firing—and will be ready for pickup 3–4 weeks after the workshop. This time is essential to ensure the durability, functionality, and beauty of each creation.
Our new space in Dorado features a curated shop, an open studio, and a workshop area, creating a serene and inspiring atmosphere that fosters connection and creativity. All experiences are guided by the trained team at LAU Pottery Studio under the artistic direction of its founder, Laura Serrano, guaranteeing close, professional, and welcoming support.
Workshop Terms and Conditions
By participating in our workshops, you acknowledge that LAU Pottery Studio is an active ceramic production space. We appreciate your respect toward the studio, the equipment, and the handmade pieces surrounding us.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling within that period incurs a $25 fee, and the new date must be booked within 14 days of the original workshop date. No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
Studio Safety: The studio operates as a production workshop. Each participant is responsible for their own safety and personal belongings. LAU Pottery Studio is not liable for falls, accidents, or injuries.
Damages: Any damage to pieces, equipment, or studio artwork must be covered by the participant.
Allergies and Health: Please notify us in advance of any allergies or sensitivities.
Creative Process: Each piece is handmade and unique. Natural variations in shape, texture, or glaze are part of the artisanal process. Minor cracks or glaze reactions may occur during the firing process; these are not considered defects, but rather a natural part of working with ceramics.
Completion Process: The entire process takes approximately 3–4 weeks. We will notify you as soon as your piece is ready for pickup.
Ticket Policy: Each ticket is valid for one person only. Guests without a ticket are not permitted, as materials and seating are prepared individually for each participant.
